This week, we're shining a spotlight on 15-year-old Emma Thompson from Portland, Oregon. Emma, who was diagnosed with ADHD at age 10, has turned her experience into a powerful force for change.
Emma's Achievements:
- Created "ADHD Buddies," a peer support program in her school
- Developed a kid-friendly ADHD information website: ADHDKidsConnect.org
- Spoke at three local schools about ADHD awareness and inclusivity
Emma says, "I want every kid with ADHD to know they're not alone and that their brain works in amazing ways. We just need to find the right tools to unlock our potential!"
