Favorite Game with Family
Chile: Corre, Corre la Guaraca
Get ready for some silly giggles with this fun (and easy-to-learn!) game from Chile. It translates to "Run, Run, la Guaraca" (Guaraca is just a silly word for extra fun!).
Here's how to play:
Gather 5 or more players (ages 5 and up)
You'll need a handkerchief
Players sit in a circle while one person jogs around the outside with the handkerchief.
The seated players sing a silly song ("Corre, Corre, la Guaraca, who looks back will be bopped on his head!")
The runner tries to sneakily drop the handkerchief on someone's back without them noticing.
If the runner makes it all the way around before the seated player realizes they have the handkerchief, the seated player is out!
If the seated player catches on, they have to tag the runner. If they succeed, the runner is out.
This is a game of quick reflexes and sneaky tactics - perfect for some family bonding and laughter!
